Privacy Statement

At Essex Carpets, we collect and process a substantial amount of “personal data” - as defined in the Data Protection Act 1998 – in providing our services. Security of your information is important to us and all feasible security measures are in place. As part of our compliance with the legislation, we have registered a “Notification” with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). This “Notification” details the purposes for which we process personal data. It is available on the Public Register of Data Controllers at www.ico.gov.uk .
We share data with third parties as part of our contracted services (for example – our sub-contractors) and/or if we are required to do so by UK law. This may include sensitive personal data if we deem the sharing to be necessary in provision of services.
None of the above affects your rights of access to personal data we may hold on you. All requests must be made in writing – email is acceptable – to the company. Please note that we may charge a £10 administrative fee for such a request – this fee is payable in advance and is non-refundable
